Usage Areas of Security Cameras
Security Camera Models
Security cameras, which we encounter in every aspect of our lives, are devices used as security elements in private and public areas that have a deterrent effect, and have the feature of being illuminating for many incidents by recording the image within their coverage area. These devices, which have a digital software, have a structure that works like a camera. There is one difference: these devices make the image usable by storing it in recording devices called DVRs.
How IP Security Cameras Work
The devices to be used for security purposes may have different models depending on their areas of use. In addition to models with wired and wireless usage features, there are also camera models called analog or IP, depending on how the data is stored. Analog cameras store the image in a recording device called a DVR using radio frequency. In other words, the images recorded by these cameras are transmitted as radio frequency. The only drawback of analog cameras, which have quite good image quality, is the presence of devices in the environment operating on the same frequency. This situation, which reduces image quality, does not pose a security risk.
Where Are Security Cameras Used?
IP security cameras first convert the image and sound entering their coverage area into electrical energy. The processor inside the device converts this data into digital data and transmits it to the device it is defined for. The defined device can be a monitor and DVR, as well as a tablet, desktop computer, or mobile device. Being trackable wherever there is internet and providing fast access, being able to watch the image live are among the most important advantages of IP cameras. These camera systems can also provide broader security by being programmed as gas and fire alarms. Security cameras can be used everywhere. Private and public living spaces can be made safer and more secure with security systems equipped with new technology. The interest in private home security systems is increasing in our country, as it is in the world. Alarm and imaging systems created in private residences against theft, harassment, and many other negative situations are becoming widespread as a deterrent against malicious individuals.
